Position summary
Duties and responsibilities include, however are not limited to the following:
- Ensures that all clients are receiving appropriate services as contracted with placing agency.
- Represents Advantage Care Group at all client court proceedings.
- Addresses all client grievances
- Works in conjunction with Program Manager and Residential Coordinator to ensure that all client based programs are working at an optimal level
Position Qualifications
- Required: Bachelors Degree in Human Services or a minimum of 60 credits from an accredited college/ university and 6 years experience.
- Experience in CASSP system and/or residential care preferred.
- All candidates must pass a required background check as outlined in The Background Check Policy in regards to Clearances and Certifications mandated by the State Department of Human Services, Federal guidelines, NSOR and possess a valid Driver’s License.
- Knowledge of computers and word processing software such as MS Word, Excel, and Office.
Working Conditions
Working environment is generally favorable; there is the potential for adverse and/or hazardous events related to working with the youth. Advantage Care Group is located in a private community setting.
Physical Demands
Walking or standing 2/3 of the workday. Sufficient mobility, coordination and body strength to safely restrain a child or adolescent. Ability to administer First Aid and CPR.
Special Training / Skills
Thorough understanding of age, cognition, and developmental stages of school age children. Effective communication skills and ability to quickly form trusting relationships with child/adolescent population. Attend and participate in all in-service training programs.

Hours
Directors will work an 8-hour shifts, preferably 8-am until 5:00 pm daily, however due to the nature of this position, there may be unforeseen occasions where the hours will need to be flexible and may exceed the 8-hour shift providing continuous consumer supervision. Directors may be required in an emergency to be retained for a brief period after their regular shift.
